Three for Tomorrow

(1972)
An anthology of stories edited by

3 SF greats present 3 fine full length novellas. Arthur C. Clarke set forth the general theme, and each author wrote independently with 3 wild results! In "We All Die Naked" James Blish pens a story about eco collapse in future Manhattan. "The Eve of Rumoko" by Zelazny, considers the power for good or evil, of a man whose name does not appear in the Central Data Bank, who lives outside the computerized supervision of human activity. Finally, San Francisco in the near future is the setting of Silverberg's story, "How It Was When the Past Went Away", about the mass effect of a memory destroying drug. Strong characterizations, the imminent plausibility and possibility of the worlds pedicated, and perceptive commentary on human nature are the distictive marks of these superior stories of the future!
