Cargo to Saigon

(1969)
A novel by

When tough Dutchman Dirk van Groten offered Rick Mc'Adden the chance to get back on to the bridge of a ship, he could not afford to turn it down. Van Groten hopes to refloat the Greek freighter - wrecked by a typhoon off the Philippines - for its salvage value, plus cargo. But there are complications. The ship finally sails for Saigon, a badly leaking hulk filled with tension and violence. For nothing is as it seems, either with the ship or its cargo.
