During their investigation, the two senior women sleuths discover the origin of the black cross that originated in the year 1190 with the Teutonic Knights. Their investigation also leads them to Heart Mountain in northern Wyoming, a former World War II internment camp for more than 14,000 Japanese. When the men in their lives disappear, Dana and Sarah are forced to solve the mystery of the black cross.
