Jacob Blade and Penny Coppersmith are on the trail of Buck Caine, a wanted murderer, when they run into three toughs assaulting a young Englishman and his Navajo wife. After breaking it up, they are told that the ruffians work for the young man’s father who is trying to force him to abandon his wife. They also learn that the fugitive they’re hunting now works for the man’s father. They decide to kill two birds with one stone: help the couple settle the issue with the man’s father and capture their fugitive.
It's easier said than done, though, and it takes every ounce of Jacob’s ingenuity.
